How To Order

ORDERING OPENS 10/15, or 10/14 for email subscribers

This year we are requesting all customers to order online, as it is much easier for our team. If you cannot order online, you may call us to place your order. Ordering online is easy, and you can choose your pick up or delivery date and time with ease!

When you order online, you will receive a $10 off $50 coupon to use on the website.

1. Visit shop.gaissmarket.com.(http://shop.gaissmarket.com/) Turkeys are in the top section of the website. If you do not see this section, simply search "Turkey Pre Order" and the turkeys will appear.
2. Click "Thanksgiving Turkey" to see all sizes. 
3. Select your desired turkey size. NOTE: if you do not see your turkey size listed, it is sold out! The inventory on the website is accurate for both in store and online orders.
4. Once you select your turkey, you will be asked to confirm that you understand rules for pick up. It is incredibly important that you select the correct date and time you want for pick up. Read more on this below. Our space is limited and we organize the walk in based on your pick up time. If you need to change your pick up time after check out, email us at sales@gaissmarket.com.
5. Once you have added the turkey to your cart, you'll head to check out. Be sure to click "Choose Date" to select your pick up or delivery date and time. Do not just jump to the next section, the website will put you in the first available slot which could be as early as the Friday before Thanksgiving.
6. Be sure to turn on notifications to email and SMS to ensure every message regarding your order is delivered.
7. Once you check out, you will receive a confirmation through email, sms, or both. There is a link to track your order that will remind you of your pick up date and time.
8. We will mark your order as confirmed within a day. The week before Thanksgiving, your order will be marked as ready for pick up. This means your turkey has arrived and has been set aside for your order. Please, do not come to the store until your selected date and time!

Pick Up Times

You will be asked to select a date and time for your order. The below options will show at check out.

Please only come to the store at the date and time you selected! This is very important for us as we are a small store and organize our walk in by time. If you need to change your date and time, email us at sales@gaissmarket.com

Question 3

Delivery

We deliver to all of Cape May County. Orders over $100 will receive free delivery. If you are charged delivery on your deposit order, and your final order is over $100, you will receive a refund for the delivery fee.

Question 4

Temporary Hold

Accepted Answer

A temporary hold will be placed on your payment method for your deposit, and anything else you order in this transaction. Depending on your bank, this hold may be released within one week, giving you access to the funds again. Do not be alarmed, this is standard operating procedures of payment processors. When your turkey arrives, we will mark the order as assembled and ready for pick up. At this time, your payment method will be charged or as a final transaction.

Deposits

Accepted Answer

$20 is due to secure your turkey and applies to your total order price. If you are picking up, your balance is paid in store. If you are getting delivery, you will receive a link via text to make your balance payment online.

If you are ordering sides, or getting a cooked turkey, those fees are due in full at the time of ordering.

About The Turkeys

Accepted Answer

The turkeys are from Sensenig Turkey Farm in Lancaster County, PA. We get them farm fresh, they are never frozen. The turkeys are free range and they eat a vegetarian diet. Sensenig does not use antibiotics. There are no hormones or steroids used, as per US Law.

We are proud to partner with Sensenig Turkey Farm! We use their turkey tenderloins in our Gaiss' Own turkey breast deli meat, too!

Question 7

Turkey Sizes & Expected Costs

For the approximate servings, we used the standard 1 and a half pounds per person formula. However, if you have moderate eaters, or guests that like specific parts of the turkey only, then we suggest sizing up.

Pricing is approximate and not guaranteed. Actual price is determined by weight. The price this year is $4.49 per pound.

Cooked Turkeys - NEW for 2025!

This year we are offering fully cooked turkeys, thanks to a partnership with Joey M's La Piazza in Wildwood! There is a separate listing for cooked turkeys. You will be charged a deposit for your turkey plus the fee to cook the turkey. Before pick up, we will send a link to make payment on your balance of your turkey. Pick up will be at Joey M's at 3813 Pacific Ave, Wildwood ON WEDNESDAY NOV 26, before 1 PM. Thanksgiving Day pick up is sold out. Delivery is also available. If you order sides and pies, they can be picked up at Joey M's also.

Turkeys will be cooked and left whole. To reheat, put the whole turkey in a pan with a rack. Add 2 cups of water or broth to the bottom of the pan, and cover well with foil. Reheat at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes per pound. Remove, let rest, cut and serve. Alternatively, you can cut the turkey down, put it in a pan with some broth in the bottom, cover with foil, and reheat in a 350 degree oven until hot to touch.

Cook fees - due in addition to the price of your turkey at $4.49/lb

Sides and Pies

Stuffing and Potatoes are served in half pans, feeding 10-12 people. Cranberry and Gravy are sold in Quart containers.

Must be ordered online, or shop in store on pick up day. We will have very limited quantities in the cold case.
