T-BONE STEAK FROM GAISS' MARKET

This week, it’s all about the T-Bone. The T-Bone is cut from the short loin. It’s tender, with a rich, beefy flavor and gets its name from the T shaped bone in every cut.


Cooking a T-Bone steak is as simple as seasoning with salt and pepper and throwing it on the grill. From Tuesday, July 12-Tuesday July 19th, shoppers at Gaiss’ Market will receive a free bottle of our own recipe steak sauce with every purchase of T-Bone steak!


For a perfect medium rare T-Bone, you’ll want your grill on medium-high heat and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, with an internal temperature of 135-140°F. For medium, cook for 6-7 minutes per side, flipping once, with an internal temperature of 150°F. If you like your steak medium well, cook for 8-9 minutes per side until the internal temperature is 165°F. Anytime you’re cooking a T-Bone steak and however you like it cooked, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
