Sirloin steak is easy to make. Just let it sit out on the counter for one hour before grilling to let it come to room temperature. This will ensure an even cook. Before the hour is up, get your grill very hot. Place the steak down and leave for 4 minutes until you can easily lift it off the grate. If it sticks, it's not ready to be moved. Rotate 90 degrees to get those great grill marks and leave for another 2 minutes. Flip and repeat. Sirloin steaks take about 12-18 minutes depending on the heat of your grill and your desired doneness. In the last few minutes of the cook, add our Gaiss' Own Cherry Balsamic Grilling sauce to both sides. This sauce is great because it gives a little acid and a tiny bit of sweet. Once that hits the grill, it'll cook up so well and add amazing flavor.
As for the chicken legs, we like to brine our legs for a few hours or overnight before placing on the grill. Cover the legs with water and add 1/8 cup of coarse Kosher salt. When you're ready to cook, get the grill hot and place the legs on direct high heat. You'll want to sear the skin over high heat first before turning down the burners. Turn often to sear all sides. Once done, turn the heat down lower. About halfway through your cook, glaze the chicken legs with our Gaiss' Own Citrus Rosemary Sauce. Brush on the sauce often. Chicken legs vary in time depending on size and the heat of the grill. Check for an internal temp of 165 degrees or cut one open to make sure the meat is done. Top with one more coat of the sauce before serving.
We're not going to tell you how to cook your burgers and hot dogs, because that's really up to your own preference. But, our 1/4 lb patties are great for a double patty burger or a smash burger! Try it today!
